You are now able to create catogorys when you edit a file, just select new and type in the name.

These catogorys will be are hidden to all other users.

Categories have been implemented into the filez website, allowing members to sort the files they upload into easier to navigate Categories.

Member and Private Categories- Categories that only that member or whom they give the link to can see

Multi Category - allow the placement of a file in a main and then subcategories

Currently to add a file to a category you must be the owner of the file and choose EDIT on the files page while logged in, from there you will be able to add it to the catogory


In the near future members will be allows to make there own, but the main public ones will not alter and will always be shown at the top of the list, i'm currently looking for ideas and names as to what these top categories should be.

Points for downloads now enabled, Every file that is downloaded earn the user points equal to the Number of kilobytes. A maximum of 10,000 points/kilobyte effect has been aplied. Some terms and conditions aply to the earning of points.
